Private Reference Service

This site is an independent starting point for public information. It does not hold official arrest or custody records, confirm whether a person is in custody, arrange anyone's release, or submit a filing to a court or government office.

Illinois has many separate record holders. The site points visitors toward state and local arrest-record and booking-photo resources, including county sources, and offers links to outside search tools. Each government office remains responsible for the records it creates and maintains.

Permitted Use and Conduct

• Use the site in a way that follows applicable law.
• Do not use information here to stalk, threaten, or harass another person.
• Do not try to enter accounts, systems, or data without authorization.
• Do not use a bot, scraper, or other automated process to collect site material.
• Do not interfere with the site's normal operation or another visitor's access.

Consumer Reporting Limits

Illinois Recent Arrests is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. Neither this site nor its advertising partners prepares consumer reports or provides a screening service. Do not use information from this site or a linked tool to make a decision covered by the FCRA. This restriction includes decisions about hiring or continued work, housing or tenant selection, creditworthiness, insurance, licenses or permits, government-program eligibility, and any other purpose governed by that law.

• Do not rely on these materials to choose, reject, or manage a worker.
• Do not use them to screen a renter or decide access to housing.
• Do not use them to set credit terms or insurance rates.
• Do not use them to decide licensing, permits, or access to a government program.
• Do not use them for another decision covered by the FCRA.

A link is provided for reference and does not mean the linked provider is endorsed. Illinois Recent Arrests does not control outside content, data practices, fees, or availability. All content and tools are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, no warranty is made about any of the following:
